The fully automatic handle applying machines of b&w solutions can be used anywhere where packs with a certain stability like in the beverage industry, food industry and paper industry are produced. Shrinkpacks with PET-bottles or glass bottles, cans, cartons, tetra-packs, or even paper rolls can be easily handled by this machines. The performance of this machines, the single-lane and the double-lane, starts with 35 packs per minute and goes up to 150 packs per minute with the double line machine.

The specified speed can vary depending on product size and pack sort.

The handle is made of a defined length of special self-adhesive tape (25mm in width) laminated with a cardboard strip (150÷350 gr/m²) to create the carry handle.

The machine operates automatically the form of the handle (by laminating the tape with the cardboard strip) and then the application of these self adhesive handles on shrink wrapped packs.

The machine, in its standard configuration, has a double reel carrier for spooled reels of adhesive tape (5000mt each) and a stack type cardboard strips magazine with high autonomy.

The machine accepts random numbers of packs feeding from the line conveyor. The packs are transported through the machine by a series of belt conveyors that feed the packs to the machine and distance them for the correct application of the handle.

The tape with the cardboard strips stuck on it at a pre-defined pitch, is directly drawn by the pack while it passes through the machine. The cut of the tape is performed by a rotating knife activated by a photosensor guaranteeing the centring of the carry handle on the pack top. A series of lever-mounted rolls assure for a complete sticking of the handle edges on the shrinkpacks.
